Graduated from Public Relations and Advertising of Communication Faculty in Istanbul University with his thesis named From Fantasia to Reality, Usage of Documentary Photography in Benetton Ads.
After the 1999 Kocaeli earthquake he took part in the Photographer Children Workshop Project as a volunteer teacher. In 1999 he lectured on basic photography at Fuji-Fotoğrafevi. Between 2000-2001 he lectured on basic and advanced photography in Fototrek. Lectured Visual Language of Photography in Plato Film School between 2008-10
Worked for Microsoft/Online Media&Publishing department as Photo Editor between 2012 -14
He is one of the founders of Photography Foundation. Working as a freelance photographer and lecturing on Photo-essay workshop in Photography Foundation in Istanbul,
